Brain
Balance

With over 100 centers nationwide, Brain Balance appeals to families searching for non-pharmaceutical interventions that address the symptoms of developmental delays in children.

In 2019, the organization planned to launch a set of programs for on-track kids and teens hoping to achieve academic or athletic excellence. They even had plans to market to adults who would join a new set of virtual programs. Here’s the problem: since 2007, the holistic healthcare institution has been widely associated with neuro-developmental treatments for struggling youth.

My job was to widen Brain Balance’s audience. The new headline and description needed to let families know that the product doesn’t only help kids catch up. It can also push them to get ahead.

Interactive Metronome

My Interactive Metronome assets aim to not only convince discerning healthcare practitioners that mental timing science is legitimate, but also that integrating IM technology into their care plans will optimize patient outcomes.

This physician-facing project required an artful articulation of complex and often-contested scientific concepts.

The OCD and Anxiety Treatment Center

Directing the “What If” campaign for The OCD and Anxiety Treatment Center gave me the chance to engage potential leads with a message only they would truly understand.

I was inspired by the beginning of a question I often hear clients with OCD asking themselves. “What if I get sick?” “What if something bad happens?” “What if I’m not good enough?”

In this ad series, I decided to answer back with the question, “What if there’s hope?”

Her Campus

Writing for Her Campus magazine confirmed the same lesson I learned the first time I watched Legally Blonde: intelligence and professionalism can and do coexist with fun and femininity.

This article about stress-relieving canines was published in a national edition of Her Campus, the #1 media site for college women.

I channeled my inner Elle Woods to appeal to college-aged dog lovers and generate all of the clicks from female law students. What? Like it’s hard?

Time Business News + IBM Power

During my time as a copywriter for Searchbloom, a search engine marketing agency, I wrote this article that left business owners curious enough about IBM Power to take a tour of their website and power up their server capabilities.

These SEO-oriented articles weren’t always stylish or sexy, but by god did they boost the client’s website traffic.

CodeCondo + iPostal1

When my search engine marketing agency tasked me with writing an article that would educate readers about supercharging their freelance businesses, I couldn’t help but feel excited. As a long-time member of the freelancer club, I was determined to breathe life into this blog post for a digital mailbox company.

The mission: Tastefully employ mention of a global pandemic to produce an article that empowers freelancers and sells iPostal1 subscriptions.

Blunovus

Blunovus, an innovative mental health EAP, asked me to write a blog post about workplace anxiety. Right away, I knew the project would be a blast. I have several years of experience working in the mental healthcare industry, but fighting mental health misconceptions never gets old.

I harnessed the power of the “listicle” to craft an SEO-boosting, expertise-confirming blog post that might actually help someone.
